Day 1: Arrival for the Adventurous 11 days wildlife Tour features
You will be picked up from the airport by our guide/driver who will take you through a short briefing about the whole trip and then transfer you to your Hotel in Kampala, this depends on arrival time in this beautifully country full of happy people and so welcoming – Overnight Cassia lodge
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park Western Uganda
Wake up early morning for a cup of tea, then our guide/driver will pick you up from your hotel at 6am. This early morning drive enables us to catch up with the parks activities and also to reach early.Have a stopover at the Equator the imaginary line that crosses in the middle of Africa take pictures and as well as buying some crafts from the near buy crafts shops.
After this continue driving past the cultivated lands the drive takes approximately 3-4hours check in at the lodge enjoy your lunch and get ready for a game drive to spot out the Zebras, Antelopes, Ugandan kobs, and many more visit lake Mburo spot out bird species and many more. Day 3: Travel to Lake Bunyonyi – 11 days wildlife Tour
Wake up, after an early morning breakfast travel to Lake Bunyonyi, a lake believed to the deepest Crater Lake in Africa, its water is believed to be Bilharzias free so swimming is safe. The drive to Bunyonyi takes 4hours, check in at the lodge Birds nest lodge.
Day 4: Boat Canoeing Safari, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest
After an early breakfast set out for a canoe ride on the lake as you enjoy the ride in the mist although it’s quite cold but a majestic experience. Return to the lodge for lunch, check out and drive to Bwindi Forest as you enjoy the beautiful scenery of rolling hills, steep mountains check in at the lodge. Day 5: Gorilla Tracking Uganda Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – 11 days wildlife Tour
After your breakfast, our guide will drive you to the park headquarter for a short briefing about Bwindi Gorilla trekking and also to meet the game rangers, the trek to visit the wild apes takes 30 minutes-4hours, this depends on how faster the trekkers are or where the Gorillas last feed the previous day.
African Adventure Travelers tour company allows you to spend 1hour with the habituated Gorillas to experience their day to day life how they eat, feed, groom each other. After you are given 1 hour to eat your packed lunch-this depends on the time you met with the Gorillas.
Return to the park head headquarters for a graduation party upon participating in Gorilla trekking, Be awarded a Certificate of Participation in Gorilla Tracking Uganda. Day 6: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park – 11 days wildlife Tour
Early morning after your breakfast depart to Queen Elizabeth Uganda national park known for a big number of tourist and popular savanna Reserves with breath taking sceneries. Check in at the lodge relax overnight. Meal plan: dinner, Accommodation (option), Ihamba safari lodge, Mweya safari lodge, Pumba safari lodge, Katara lodge.
Day 7: Game drives, Wildlife, Kazinga Channel – 11 days wildlife Tour
Wake up early morning at 7am for a game drive after your breakfast, this early morning game drive gives you a chance to spot out a number of animals before retreating to their hide outs. Expect to view leopards, lions, Buffaloes, wart hogs, hippos, hyenas Ugandan kobo, and many more the drive takes 4 hours.
Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for the afternoon boat cruise at Kazinga channel for wildlife view of hippos, Nile crocodiles, monitor lizards, elephants drinking water, the area is a collection of many birds including king fisher, African fish eagle ,skimmers, saddle-billed stock. Day 8: Travel to Kibale national park
After your early morning breakfast depart to Kibale National park before lunch time you will transfer to the ranger station at 1:30 for a short briefing about chimpanzee trekking which stars at 2pm head into the park for the chimpanzee habituation.
The trek is worthy your allowed to spend 1 hour with these apes which are close to humans as they play, swing on trees eat fruits .return to the lodge relax and dinner and overnight. Meal plan: dinner, Accommodation (option) Primate Safari lodge, Kibale forest camp, Kibale safari lodge, Nature walks lodge, Kanyanchu river camp.
Day 9: Travel to Murchison falls national park – 11 days wildlife Tour
Travel to Murchison falls National Park after your lunch. Arrive before 6pm check in, relax and have dinner.
Day 10: Game Drives, Boat cruise, Nature walks, Birding – 11 days wildlife Tour
After morning breakfast set off for early morning game drive expect to see lions ,buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, bush buck, Uganda kob ,orib,wildcats,hippos,, giraffes return to the lodge for lunch . Later expect to set out for a boat cruise to spot out the hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, kobs and many more as they drink water and relaxing in the sun.
Get off the boat for a 45minute walk to see the beautiful scenery of the Nile squeezing and plunging into a 7meter and explodes into the World’s strongest water fall. Enjoy the compelling views of different spots of the falls. Our driver will be ready to drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Rhino trekking Ziwa Rhino sanctuary – Final Day of our 11 days wildlife Tour
After your Breakfast, drive back to Kampala, have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary the only place in Uganda with the white Rhinos. You will set off with a game ranger to trek these graceful mammals although there are other animals you can spot out, after the trek you would have completed the big five adventures of Uganda Africa. Later have lunch at Kabalega dinner hotel and continue to your hotel or proceed for your departure flight.
Our 11 days Uganda Safari is quite a demanding Uganda Safari with its activities very serious undertaking. The more prepared you are, the more enjoyable your trip will be. Physical fitness is one aspect of preparation that takes time and commitment. You may need to carry along Mountain hiking boots as we shall dance on the tune with muddy jungles, look for Sun glasses, caps, Rain jackets, Gloves, Flexible hiking clothes and other related equipments as advised by our guide. The rest shall be Organised by our staff and will recommend some of the extra items that you may need, some of these items can be purchased with in Uganda
