Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe forest

Have lunch in Huye a unique area full of traditional artefacts, with the nearby Ethnographic Museum being one of Africa’s finest ethnographic collections, and makes a good combination with the King’s Palace. After your lunch proceed to the Park to have an evening Canopy walk experience. Day 2: Nyungwe forest Chimpanzee tracking experience

Early Morning after your African breakfast, Prepare for the chimpanzee trek in one the forest, Have a 1-2 hours experience tracking our cousins. The forest is pillowed with rain-forests, bamboos, grasslands, swamps, and bogs which are fine homes to Common chimpanzees, Monkeys, Baboons, Mangabeys, frogs etc, and over 275 bird species live here.

After the morning experience with the chimps and all the forest’s mother nature store, Retire back for lunch and a short relaxation. The soothing evenings will get us ready to visit the Communities plus a coffee or tea tour with the locals who Participate in this farming. Retire back to your lodge for dinner and Sinner.

Day 3: Visit Lake Kivu(Africa’s eighth largest lake), En route back to Kigali

Early Morning after your breakfast, and depending on Your flight time, We shall drive along the majestic wonder of Lake Kivu, it’s not only Africa’s eighth largest lake but also the world’s eighteenth deepest lake by maximum depth, and the ninth deepest by mean depth that sits in the rift valley that is slowly being pulled. For those who would have more time, the 3 days nyungwe forest can be tailored to visit the second largest inland island in Africa and the world’s tenth-largest island on a lake, Idjwi, that lies in Lake Kivu. The road drive gives you spectacular views of Congo via Kibuye on to Gitarama and finally Kigali with lunch en-route.
