Day 2: Gorilla Trekking rwanda, Nature Walks, Birding, Community Visits, Ceremonial-Certification award
Wake up early morning, prepare yourself and enjoy your heavy breakfast. The lodge will provide you with packed lunch and bottled water. Our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the 3 Days Gorilla tracking Rwanda Itinerary and also to meet the Bukima game rangers, proceed to the park as you might as well spot out bird species, tree species and primates on your trek.
The 3 days Rwanda Safari to the home of Rwanda gorillas is quite challenging especially on rainy season where by the slopes are quite steep, you will need to be physically fit for this exercise, we recommend you to do some exercises prior. When you finally encounter with the wild apes, the joy on your face is unforgettable. This thrilling moment will lead you to experience their day to day life, how they groom, play, feed and move. You are only allowed to spend 1 hour with them. Then after this amazing experience, you spend another hour in the forest enjoying your packed lunch. Later, hike back to the park headquarters for the Gorilla graduation ceremony, you will be awarded a certificate for participation in Gorilla trekking.
Our guide will drive you back to the lodge, Re freshen up (optional) by visiting the community around. Move around, learn and share moments with the local people who first lived in the forest as food gatherers and hunters. Return to your lodge after this experience, have your dinner and a night till tomorrow.
